Charge it to Experience. Here we go, 2013!

I realize I've been neglecting my blog again so I'll just share a couple of my plans for 2013. I always plan my future in an arm's length (meaning I don't visualize too far) because there are so many factors (that are variable) that may alter your goal at any moment. The key to planning ahead is seeing a clear path, focus on the goal you want to achieve then act upon it. Most people focus on their long term goals without any plan at all, or they just plan it but never actually do it. Easier said than done folks. One step at a time.

My New Year's Resolution:

  1. Learn a new language. (I'm thinking of studying Mandarin as it is widely spoken and I'm half Chinese. I also like to learn Nihonggo as I can already speak and understand it a bit! But if I'm up for the challenge, Mandarin would be my choice because it is tougher considering its sentence structure is totally different than Tagalog or English and also, it's a tonal language. Maybe learn both? We'll see.)
  2. Travel outside the country for only once a year. ( I have to save money now for that car I want. :p And I don't want to avail any loan!)
  3. Eat healthy, exercise. ( I enrolled once again to Gold's gym hurray! Because I'm no longer in shifting schedule. I'm limiting my food intake also on junk foods. This is going to be TOUGH.)
  4. Do a good deed. (My friend is hosting a charity event for CHILDHAUS, it's an organization for kids with cancer. I already committed to participate and donated goods and toys so I guess this is done. The event will be held on January 5.)
  5. Focus on my investments instead of unnecessary expenses. (Last year, I have entered the stock market and my investments have sky rocketed! My money here will be spent when I'm old and have no income haha.. I'm glad we have a president with integrity, the Philippine economy is getting better and so are my stocks. :P)
  6. Cook. (I need to cook and not just eat!)
  7. Last but not the least, as always.. endless learning. (I love learning new stuff, I'm open to change because this will result to either  improvement or lessons in life. Charge it to experience.)
Like I always say, My life is not an open book but I'm open to anything, Happy New Year Everyone! :D

One of my Highlights this 2012, was able to climb the Badaling Great Wall in Beijing!

I also want to thank YOU! ..for everything.. :)
